I pressed the settings button, closed the message, downloaded a component file, then tried the same again with Design Spark running, then closed Library Loader.Ĭode: Select all - Running wine- Library Loader.exe (Working directory : /home/me/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/DS/drive_c/Program Files/SamacSys/Library Loader) I've installed both programs in a playonlinux virtual drive, the log file attached is for Library Loader. So I'm guessing a MS library is needed, but can't figure out what. I have to go all the way back to v2.28 for it to work, older that what I was using before. ![]() I am getting an error from Library Loader when I download a new component or when I click the settings button "Unable to launch/connect to Design Spark PCB". Library Loader installed the newest version (2.49) - woo hoo! I really wanted to try using mono, so messed up my wine prefix trying to remove the native stuff, eventually gave up installed in a fresh one. When I was running these programs using native dependencies, it all mostly worked well, but I couldn't install the latest version of Library Loader. In normal use it opens component packages that you download, adds them to the DS library and puts a symbol at your cursor ready to place on the page. Library Loader is supposed to be able to launch and connect to DS when the settings button is pressed. ![]() It was a real PITA to install when I did it using native deps, so I'm very happy with that. DS is now at version 10 and installed and working very nicely with wine-mono.
